
Fulfillment Policy
1. Overview
Shawn Gebhardt, LCPC, provides psychotherapy services, including individual counseling and therapy sessions, conducted in person or via telehealth. This fulfillment policy outlines how services are scheduled, delivered, and managed, ensuring a clear understanding of the process for clients.
2. Scheduling and Delivery of Services
• Appointments: Clients can schedule psychotherapy sessions through the online booking system on www.shawngebhardtlcpc.com or by contacting me directly.
• Session Format: Services may be provided in person at my office or via secure telehealth platforms.
• Confirmation: Clients receive a confirmation email upon booking, including session details and any necessary instructions.
3. Payment and Billing
• Accepted Payments: Cash, check, or card using electronic payment. Electronic Payments are processed securely through Stripe and other approved payment methods.
• Prepayment: Some services may require prepayment at the time of booking.
• Insurance: If applicable, clients are responsible for verifying insurance coverage and handling reimbursement claims.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
• Client Cancellations: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.
• Provider Cancellations: If I need to cancel or reschedule a session, clients will be notified as soon as possible and offered a rescheduled appointment.
5. Refund Policy
• Missed Appointments: Payments for missed appointments without prior notice are non-refundable.
• Service Refunds: As psychotherapy is a time-based service, refunds are generally not issued once a session has been completed. Exceptions may be made in special circumstances at my discretion.
6. Client Responsibilities
• Confidentiality Agreement: Clients agree to participate in therapy sessions in a private and secure environment.
• Technology Requirements: For telehealth sessions, clients must ensure they have a stable internet connection and a functioning device with audio and video capabilities.
